MR Angiography of Brain Arteries
Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) is a non-invasive imaging technique used to evaluate the structure, patency, and blood flow of cerebral arteries without radiation exposure.
Indications
- dizziness and recurrent headaches;
- migraine;
- tinnitus;
- visual or hearing disturbances;
- speech or coordination problems;
- numbness or limb weakness;
- memory impairment;
- facial asymmetry;
- head trauma.

Conditions Detected by MRA
- aneurysms;
- atherosclerosis;
- arterial stenosis or occlusion;
- congenital vascular anomalies;
- ischemic changes;
- vasculitis;
- stroke;
- vascular tumors.
MRA is commonly performed before neurosurgical procedures and for follow-up assessment of chronic vascular disorders.
